Lime Down Solar Park Community Consultation Launch

As many of you will be aware, Island Green Power are bringing forward their early-stage proposals for a new solar park and battery energy storage project proposed to be built on land in North Wiltshire, known as Lime Down Solar Park. Stage One consultation on Lime Down Solar Park launched today. The aim of our Stage One consultation is to introduce ourselves, present our early-stage proposals, and receive feedback from the community to help identify and understand any local impacts.

Our Stage One consultation is running between 14 March and 26 April 2024. We will be holding six events in the community on the dates listed below.

  • Friday 22 March - 15:30pm – 19:30pm - Sherston Village Hall, High Street, Sherston, Malmesbury, SN16 0LQ
  • Saturday 23 March - 11:00am – 15:00pm - Hullavington Village Hall, Hill Hayes Lane, Hullavington, Chippenham, SN14 6EB
  • Monday 25 March - 13:30pm – 17:30pm - Grittleton Village Hall, The Street, Grittleton, Chippenham, SN14 6AW
  • Tuesday 09 April - 15:30pm – 19:30pm - Goss Croft Hall, Startley Road, Upper Seagry, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 5HD
  • Wednesday 10 April - 15:30pm – 19:30pm - Corsham Town Council Hall, Town Hall, 65 High St, Corsham, SN13 0EZ
  • Thursday 11 April - 14:00pm – 18:00pm - Shaw Village Hall, The Beeches, Shaw, Melksham, SN12 8EW

We will also be holding two online community webinar events which are available to join by video call or by phone.
